Teething

We're pretty sure Isaac has started teething. He is drooling like crazy and puts everything in his mouth. The top picture, while blurry, cracks me up because the Ike-ster really wants to have the teether in his mouth but he refuses to hold it himself. He fusses until Scott puts it in his mouth for him. Apparently it's too cold for his own little hands. Hmmm, do you think we spoil him?

We did it again. We forgot to thaw out the top tier of our wedding cake. So Friday of last week we celebrated our 2nd anniversary again. We grilled hot dogs and ate wedding cake. Believe it or not, the cake was still moist and uber-delicious! I had forgotten how good that cake was; white and chocolate marble cake with chocolate chip-butter cream filling.

I finally figured out how to upload our video camera files to the computer today during Isaac's afternoon nap.

This is a clip of Isaac's first experience with food (March 21st). He is eating rice cereal...yuck! He ate oatmeal today and seemed to actually like it. By the way, don't you think Isaac looks like a little friar with the way his hair is coming in? Little Friar Ike!

Avacado = Yummy

Isaac tried an avacado this morning. He was unhappy with the texture at first but after I thinned it out some more he kept willingly opening his mouth for more. We ended up mixing it with the rice cereal and he ate almost all of it! He's beginning to get the hang of this eating thing.

Isaac was not a fan of the rice cereal he tried Saturday morning.

Well, not today...

I took this on Feb. 20th. and am just now getting around to posting. Things have been a little crazy around here. Scott's been sick for about a week and that means I've had full-time Isaac and house duty. Thank goodness Scott is back to being healthy!

Last week Isaac had his 4 month check-up. He is doing great! He is 25 3/4 inches long (75%) and weighs 13lbs, 8oz. (25%) which makes for a long skinny baby with chunky legs. But every bit of him is huggable and kissable! He did great with his shots again. He howled and cried for a minute or two but was asleep by the time we left the office.

I've got to go, busy day today, Mom's group meeting then we're meeting Hammy for lunch.
