Avacado = Yummy

Isaac tried an avacado this morning. He was unhappy with the texture at first but after I thinned it out some more he kept willingly opening his mouth for more. We ended up mixing it with the rice cereal and he ate almost all of it! He's beginning to get the hang of this eating thing.

Isaac was not a fan of the rice cereal he tried Saturday morning.

Well, not today...

I took this on Feb. 20th. and am just now getting around to posting. Things have been a little crazy around here. Scott's been sick for about a week and that means I've had full-time Isaac and house duty. Thank goodness Scott is back to being healthy!

Last week Isaac had his 4 month check-up. He is doing great! He is 25 3/4 inches long (75%) and weighs 13lbs, 8oz. (25%) which makes for a long skinny baby with chunky legs. But every bit of him is huggable and kissable! He did great with his shots again. He howled and cried for a minute or two but was asleep by the time we left the office.

I've got to go, busy day today, Mom's group meeting then we're meeting Hammy for lunch.

Baby Bug Has Caught a Bug

Unfortunately Isaac came down with his first cold Monday night. Fortunately he is a little trooper and has remained happy and playful all week. Monday night was rough; Isaac was very congested and was having trouble breathing, but thankfully he has slept well the rest of the week. His fever comes and goes but his smile is always there. He's a little angel.

3 Months Old Today!!!

Can you believe Isaac is 3 months old today? What a great day too: Ike is 3 months, Obama's inauguration and Molly's birthday all on January 20th! As you can see Isaac is very happy about today's events and is celebrating during bath time. He loves splashing around in the water.

Baby Hats

It's finally been cold enough here for Isaac to wear his crochet hat and booties. I bought theses on Etsy.com for Christmas.

Gotta wear shades...

Isaac and I went to Target on Monday and I couldn't resist the sunglasses. Cool baby! Now all he needs is a tattoo and a Harley.

Mirror, Mirror...

Isaac loves looking in mirrors. His two favorite things to do are looking in mirrors and studying his hands. It cracks me up watching him be so fascinated with his little hands and trying so hard to reach out and grab something.
